Team Uprising - Putting libraries out of business since 2006

The conclusion of xLAN 2010 sees Team Uprising with two podium finishes; making it the third consequtive year that Team Uprising have managed to make at least a silver placing in any competition entered. Coming away with two silver trophies we're proud to announce the following results;

Placing second in the Call of Duty: 4 Creative Cup, losing in the grand final to the top-seeded veteran Australian team, Archaic.MSi. Having a successful run to the grand final without losing a map, eliminating third seeded team leftLEAN in a nail biting, two map semi-final (17-13, 13-7).

Against the odds our BF:BC2 Squad Rush team shattered their expected seed (of 7th) making it to the grand finals, defeating Exile5.1 (3rd seed) and Chosen Few (4th seed) along the way, before finally being bested by the veteran Exile5 side in the grand final.

Team Uprising would like to congratulate Exile5 and Archaic for their victories in the respective competitions and thank all xLAN staff and competitors for a well run and highly enjoyable tournament.

We'd also like to extend further, specific thanks to the following staff members: M3DIC - for running an almost flawless CoD4 competition, Zalman - for his hard work organising Squad Rush through clashes and disorganisation, and lastly Arseynimz, for his tireless efforts in keeping this tournament afloat. We look forward to future events and hope to be in attendance.
