As of writing, the Uprising team entered into the CFL ladder is 2nd place, on 14 points. It is undecided who they will face in the first round of the finals due to there being a week of play left, however Uprising have a bye in the upcoming round. This team has performed much better than expected, with only 2 narrow losses occurring to the teams of cLag and exile 5, both having much more practise and preparation than the casual Uprising side.

The favourites, cLag, have had by and large the most practise and preparation coming up to this finals series (nightly scrims, continual play in the time that Uprising and exile 5 were inactive), and should be considered favourites by a long margin. The new iteration of the Uprising squad will definitely make the finals interesting, however, as all players have performed extremely well individually this season.

With new members in the side and a lack of match practise under its belt, the team's only real weakness - that of team synergy, has been exposed in the marginal losses that the side has incurred. With only this to hamper their efforts, the Uprising side is more than capable of snatching an upset win, further cementing their legacy in the DoD:S community.
